The Interlibrary Use Policy of the ARCHE (Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education) Libraries Cooperative Program provides for borrowing from the collections of other ARCHE libraries by the faculty, staff, and students of member institutions, for the purpose of supplementing the resources of their own library.

 

Borrowing Privileges


Books and Scores:

Up to 25 items may be checked out at a time for a 28 day loan period.

Overdue fines: $0.50 per day, $2.00 per day for recalled books
Journals (bound and unbound): Journals may be used within the library.

Videos, sounds recordings, and other media items:

These items may be used within the library. 3 hour loan period.

Renewals can be made online through EUCLID (click on My Account) as long as your registration is current. To update your privileges, please come in person to the Woodruff Library Circulation Desk.

Recalls: any item is subject to recall and standard fines will apply. Recalls may be placed by ARCHE patrons.

Please Note: ARCHE patrons are admitted into the library from

8am to 9pm during regular class periods, and from 8am to 5pm during exam periods.


Students and Faculty at these institutions are eligible to use Interlibrary Use Cards
obtained at their university*:


Agnes Scott College

Mercer University (Atlanta Campus)

Atlanta University Center

Morehouse School of Medicine

Brenau University

Oglethorpe University

Clayton State University

Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta

Columbia Theological Seminary

Southern Polytechnic State University

Kennesaw State University

University of West Georgia

*Atlanta Fulton Public Library does not issue or accept ILU cards

You will need a valid ID from your institution and an interlibrary use card.

Register in person at the Woodruff Library Circulation Desk. Your borrowing  eligibility will be verified by contacting your library's circulation staff so please coordinate your registration when both Emory and your library are open.

Your home institution determines the period of eligibility.

Records with overdue materials or fines will be blocked and transactions restricted until the block is cleared. (You may pay your fines at the Woodruff Library Circulation Desk.)
