Admittance

The Heilbrun Library welcomes all Emory personnel, guest researchers, and other visitors. Guests should register at the security desk at the building entrance. A picture-ID is required. Please note that no visitors are admitted after 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, nor after 5:00 p.m. daily during the spring and fall examination periods.

Music and Media Materials

Books on music, scores, and periodicals are housed on open shelves and are accessible to all users. Guests may use media materials in the library by presenting their picture IDs at the desk for retention while using the item.

Computers and Databases

Two computers are available for searching the online catalog, EUCLID. Other computers on the fourth floor are restricted to Emory students and employees, but some databases are available to visitors through specialized workstations located on level 2 of the building. Please call the main reference desk at (404) 727-6875 for additional information on these workstations.
